        How Many Tags Do I Use?       

One, two, or three. How many? The question most asked by our customers is “How many tags do I put on my garbage?"

To answer this we have placed a handy reference chart below.

Please place tags in plain sight around the neck of each bag, or around the handle of each can.

        Where do I buy Tags?             

Tags are  $ 0.99 per tag and can be bought in sheets of Ten at Chief Grocery Store, Huntington Bank, State Bank and Trust, Farmers and Merchant Bank, Circle K Stores, Ace Hardware, Shell - Court View Mart, or Marathon - Wash & Fill .

       The Following Guidelines Should Be Followed To Insure Dependable Service         

1.                  Please have garbage out by 7:00 A.M.

2.                City Residents must place a tag on all bags or cans to be picked up each week. There is a 40 lb. weight limit per bag or can.

3.                  No ashes per State regulations.

4.                  No grass, leaves or brush per State regulations.

5.                  All trash cans must have handles.

6.                  Pails or buckets need both ends cut out.

7.                   Paint cans will be accepted if paint has hardened and the lid is removed from the can.  (Floor dry, cat litter and sawdust all work well to solidify paint)

8.                  We cannot accept tires or batteries.

9.                  We cannot accept any liquids in your refuse (paint, cleaners etc.)

10.               We cannot accept any building or construction material.
