City of Morenci Residential Guidelines

The Following Guidelines Should Be Followed To Insure Dependable Service
 

1.                  Please have garbage out by 7:00 A.M.

2.                  Village Residents are allowed one (1) 30-gallon bag or can, and one (1) bulky item per week . There is a 40# weight limit per bag or can. (Residents may rent a 96-gallon cart  for only $5.50 per month. These carts are dumped weekly along with the pickup of (1) bulky item. Rented carts are maintained by A.R.S. and replaced free of charge should anything become broken or damaged. ) Any additional bags outside of a cart are not considered a bulky item and must have an extra bag tag around the neck of the bag for pickup. Extra bag tags may be purchased from the city offices.

3.                  No ashes per State regulations.

4.                  No grass, leaves or brush per State regulations.

5.                  All trash cans must have handles.

6.                  Pails or buckets need both ends cut out.

7.                   Paint cans will be accepted if paint has hardened and the lid is removed from the can.  (Floor dry, cat litter and sawdust all work well to solidify paint)

8.                  We cannot accept tires or batteries.

9.                  We cannot accept any liquids in your refuse (paint, cleaners etc.)

10.               We cannot accept any building or construction material.
